This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made from KiwiGuy Computers.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Products sold in Australia come with consumer guarantees, including that goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for their intended purpose.
If a product has a major fault or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
KiwiGuy Computers accepts change of mind returns within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is:
Change of mind returns are not available for opened products, used products, damaged packaging, or excluded product categories listed in this policy.
If you believe an item is faulty, please contact KiwiGuy Computers as soon as possible with your order details, a description of the issue, and any photos or videos that may assist with assessment.
Faulty item claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the issue and the requirements of Australian Consumer Law, the available remedy may include repair, replacement, refund, manufacturer warranty assessment, or further testing.
KiwiGuy Computers reserves the right to inspect and test returned items before approving a remedy.
If an item appears to be Dead on Arrival (DOA), please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Please include your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and supporting photos or video where possible.
DOA claims may require testing or assessment before a repair, replacement or refund is approved.
For hygiene, handling, compatibility and product integrity reasons, change of mind returns are not accepted for:
These exclusions do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty or fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Custom-built PCs, custom configurations, special-order products and made-to-order items are not eligible for change of mind returns once the build, order or preparation process has begun.
Warranty and fault claims for custom PCs will be assessed based on the issue. Depending on the circumstances, support may include troubleshooting, repair, replacement of faulty components, manufacturer warranty assistance or other appropriate remedies.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.
Items should be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. KiwiGuy Computers is not responsible for items lost or damaged while being returned by the customer.
For faulty items, return shipping requirements will depend on the nature of the issue and the outcome of the assessment.
